THE 2010 SEASON GETS UNDERWAY!
 JOIN US IN CELEBRATING WBC’S DIAMOND
ANNIVERSARY, 60 YEARS! After a white start to the year, we’d like to extend a warm welcome to everyone for our 60th birthday year! It goes without saying there are plenty of events lined up to provide all ages with fun and entertainment both on and off the river (our calendar of events is set out on P4 and this will be added to during the year). Our Club Open Day and training course sign-up is on Saturday 24th April and we look forward to seeing many of you there. In addition, there is a riverside music evening, the summer party, Rag Regatta and an adult charity ‘swim the river’ event (yes, this means you!). These are just some of the things happening at WBC this year. You will find your membership forms for the new season inside this issue. Ever mindful of keeping the club affordable to everyone, our membership rates remain unchanged. So don’t delay and make sure you take advantage of our ‘Early Bird’ discount offer! With so much to look forward to, let’s get the club shipshape and ready for its birthday season. Please join us for our Tender Loving Care day on Saturday 17th April from 9.00am. Notice is hereby given of Wargrave Boating Club’s Annual General Meeting. The meeting will commence
8.00pm on Tuesday 23rd March
in The Sansom Room, Woodclyffe Hostel, Church Street Wargrave.
Any paid member of WBC can stand for election for the committee. A Proposer & Seconder (both WBC members) must sign the enclosed nomination form.
