Wednesday nights
-
No. of sessions: Seven, including the pool session

All participants in adult Kayak courses must be good swimmers, wear their own well fitting buoyancy aid and have a pair of soft shoes suitable for getting wet.
-
We advise warm clothing and a windproof jacket as it gets very cold, even in the summer when the sun goes down and especially when you are wet. You can wear a wet suit, but not long sleeved.
-
Please bring a towel, change of clothes and money for the pub.
After the course has been completed competent paddlers often organise paddle sessions between themselves until end of the season. We hope to have ‘Club Nights’ on a Wednesday or Thursday. You must be in groups of 3 or more and have passed your 2* Kayak.

Minis Introduction (School Years 3-4)
5:30pm-6:15pm
The idea is to introduce the youngsters to kayaking and open canoeing or build on skills. Participants do not need to have passed the swim test (although they should be able to swim 50 metres and be confident in and around river water), but MUST have their own, well fitting buoyancy aid and have a pair of soft shoes suitable for getting wet.
